"Overall I was pleased with our defense. I thought they did a great job holding those guys under 100, given the fact we turned it over 20 times. It was a heck of an effort by the guys tonight."
"It’s going to increase a lot. We’re missing a rebounder and another scorer that causes a double-team. He helps me to get easy shots. We’ve got a ton of guys that can fill his place and know our offense. We’re already deep down in this season. We’ve just got to roll with it. We hope he gets better. We don’t want to rush him back [because] that’s something serious with his heart. We just want him to get better and feel comfortable with himself about stepping out here on the floor again."
"It was great to have Kawhi back tonight, obviously leading the way. The rest of us filled in and did the best we could. My job when I came here was to be ready for any circumstance. I’ve played, started for years and years in the league; a couple hundred games in a row I think I started. Then I’ve come off the bench a bunch and found a way to be successful. My job is when my number is called, no matter what that role is, it’s to play hard and play smart."
"Well, I’ve seen him play over time, and he’s definitely not a minimum player, for sure, and he’s proven that to a lot of people, hopefully. It’s just a matter of sometimes circumstances are more important or affect your life more than you, individually, and that happens to all of us. It’s called life, and he’s worked through it and come here and done a heck of a job."
"[Lee] and Dewayne [Dedmon] have been great. They have been key for us, especially with [Aldridge] being out and Pau coming off the bench. Those guys have done a great job on the boards and altering and blocking shots. We’re usually last in offensive rebounding, but I think they brought us up a notch or two. They’ve done a great job on the boards, getting there and getting us second opportunities. We always respected [Lee]. He had always played great against us. He was well-respected, used both hands. Injuries had plagued him, but he’s been fighting through the little bumps and bruises. He doesn’t want to sit out."

"It's a win we're going to accept and keep, but wasn't a fair fight. They're Golden State. Their top four or five players weren't there, if anybody didn't notice. We're supposed to win a basketball game like that."
"The aggressive mindset needs to be there no matter who's on the court and who's not. That's something that I've been trying to focus on a little bit more this end of the season going into the playoffs."
"He was solid. That was the best part of what he did. He made some shots, of course, and that's great. But he was pretty solid defensively. He knew what was going on."
"In general, they were the most aggressive team. I thought their aggressiveness took us out of a lot of stuff; their double-teaming, their hedging, their trapping, whatever you want to call it. It was aggressive, and we didn't move the ball against that very well. So, we ended up with either turnovers or every time we'd get within seven, we'd turn it over or shoot a contested shot, or possibly give up a second-chance point for them being on the offensive board, and that was the downfall in the game."
"They beat us anyway. If Kawhi would have played in the fourth, if they would have continued to do what they were doing and we continued to do what we were doing, they would have won anyway. We never make excuses. We got our butts kicked."
"We didn't bring the toughness that we needed tonight. They beat us on loose balls. They beat us on offensive rebounds. We've just got to be better."
"A loss always makes you look in more. Definitely tries to respond better after a tough loss."
"I don't think we got a good rhythm tonight. I think you could look at them as having the most depth inside of any team in the league, especially from the last time we played them having Kanter back in the lineup as well as adding Gibson. They did a good job on the boards, and they're especially tough in this building. For whatever reason, we didn't have our best night. We've got to look at that. If I had to say one thing, I don't think we moved the ball as well as we have. We played a lot of iso ball, which is great when shots are going in. I think we're at our best when everyone's involved and moving the ball. When you have a team as big and strong as they are, when you move the ball and everybody's cutting, I think they're less effective. Because they've got to scramble and move now versus when they can stay at home, and get in the paint, and now there's five guys around you. I think all of us were guilty of that tonight. It's something we've got to change next time we see them."
"Home court is great, but getting better is the most important thing for us. It's always been, as well as being healthy at the right time of the year. There's been times in the past where Pop's rested guys no matter what the seeding is. If we know we're in the playoffs, we're in the playoffs. OK, cool. We feel we have the guys, the capability, the potential, the roster, the staff to compete with anybody and beat anybody on the road or home. Want to be champions? You have to win on the road. So regardless, the seed doesn't matter. You still have to win. The 1 seed is not really a factor for us. We just want to be healthy and playing our best basketball and getting better. Tonight, I think we might have taken a step back."
